WHAT WE DO

 

Our Unit’s primary goals are:​

​

• To provide a safe, friendly, and fun place for young men and women, aged 10 to 18, to learn and practice leadership; develop technological, seamanship, and other skills; and build self-confidence, self-reliance, and independence, while making new friends from around the world, in an inclusive, respectful environment.

• To instill living by the core values of the USNSCC: "Honor, Respect, Commitment, Service."

​​

• To encourage youth to attend college, and provide opportunities for scholarships to fund higher education.

​

• To foster appreciation for our uniformed personnel in the Defense forces, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Merchant Marine, Navy, the Navy League of the United States, and other patriotic and civic organizations.
