Enrollment Requirements

Qualifications

Citizenship: ALL prospective applicants must be United States citizens.
Age: Applicants for the Naval League Cadets (NLCC) must be 10 years old, but not yet age 13. Applicants for Naval Sea Cadets (NSCC) must be at least 13 years old, but not yet 18 years old.
Physical Examination: A medical examination similar to a high school sports physical is required for all cadet applicants to the NSCC/NLCC. No one will be denied admission to the NSCC/NLCC due to a medical disability. Where a medical condition precludes full, unlimited participation, a Request for Accommodation (NSCADM 001, Pg 9) may be presented by the parent or guardian for review so the cadet may participate in NSCC activities to the maximum extent possible.
- Adult applicants must be in good health and free from any ailment/condition that would prevent them from satisfactorily performing their primary duty of supervising youth. NOTE: Adults not physically qualified to perform all duties may participate with a waiver from NHQ considering the parameters of their expected contribution to the NSCC program.
Education: Applicants must be enrolled in school, either public, private or a sanctioned home school program and have satisfactory scholastic standing.
Moral Character: Applicants must possess good moral character, be unmarried, not pregnant, drug free and free of felony convictions.

Cadet Application
Medical Exam Form - Included in application and needs to be completed by Physician. A current physical can be used in place of this form.
Medical History Form - Included in application
Copy of Current Immunizations Record
Copy of front & back of insurance card
